On Tuesday, I gave my cousin a fresh new hairstyle, cutting it into a concave bob that now really flatters her, so much more than the grown out style before. This was also one of my latest assessments to do with my college course as well, found out that I have to pick a theme and do a photoshoot for part of my course, pretty excited for that.

Best Actress Oscar
I am so, so glad to see that Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar last night for Best Actress in a leading role, for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. I saw the movie and it was so good and as she is my favourite actress these days, couldn't have been a better win!
Let me just add how fabulous she looked, too.
Recently tried out this old fashioned style on my cousin after she kindly volunteered for the look. I love this creation, I'm gonna try and worm it into some more modern looks when I can.
After ages without nails due to having to remove my last set early for my operation, I now have a new set of acrylics on, by myself of course. This time they're all silver glitter, except for 1 on each hand being black glitter :) I love glitter.
So, here is another piece if my work. A classic/vintage smooth knot hairstyle, created by me for part if my level 3 work, it can be worn with hair accessories or without and it's perfect for attending weddings or parties or even proms! It was actually an assessment I had passed too. I've got a bunch of stuff I need to get on with to go into my evidence folder and preparations for my next training day.
What do you think of the hairstyle?
Today was another one of those days where my tutor comes to work to do some of my course with me and although I was super stressed out about it last night (due to a huge amount of paper work I had to do), it went well and I passed 3 assessments. Here's one of the styles I did today for the boho/beach look :)
Had a lovely lass from Essex come in for a set of acrylic nails with me today at work and boy, did they end up proper Essex style. TOWIE eat your heart out, they looked lovely though! Longest set I've ever done.
"I Feel Like A Princess"
Today I had Holly come into work to be a model for me as I am now studying my level 3, which means a lot of advanced work. So today I did a couple of styles on her hair and here is one of them, a classy knot, which could be worn as wedding hair.
Been trying out some new looks with some glitter I got for doing nails at work now and as usual, I tried it out on myself first. This is just all over gel with silver glitter added on top, finished by another layer or two layers of clear gel to finish them off. It's ideal if you love glitter but have problems with nail varnish chipping off most of the time (like myself) as the gel does not chip if done correctly.
I've changed the way my nails look... AGAIN. I think I have some sort of addiction haha. Opted for pink leopard print!
Had a friend in for acrylic nails again today at work. First of all I did a full set of acrylic nails on her before coating them in a nice summery colour of orange by nail polish brand 'Orly' and then I added nail gems on the thumbs in a neat vertical line.
Today I restyled my cousins hair by cutting it VERY short from a shoulder length hairstyle (as requested of course). It's super short at the back but longer and heavier at the front! So much braver with her hair than I am haha.
Step one: Here you can see how short the natural hair is.
Step two: Half a head complete..
Step three: Full head complete but not yet cut into a style.
