New Years Eve
The last day of the year is upon us, December 31! Only a few hours left until we enter the brand new year of 2011. Hopefully it will be as spectacular and packed with fun as 2010 was for me, I've travelled so much this year, been abroad 4 times, visted 2 new countries and many new cities, made loads of new friends and lost some old friends along the way but it was all worth it. I already have a trip planned for Denise's birthday in June, hopefully we pull it off! I've also attended so many concerts this year, I'm so grateful that I've had the opportunity to see so many of my favourite artists live this year, especially Tokio Hotel. I hope next year is just as packed!!
I'm actually celebrating NYE in style this year with a last minute invite out with some girls. Pre drinks and then we're hitting the town.

My day has literally been full of nothing, I've done nothing practical with my day at all. Mother and I have been watching films all day, including the three we got for Christmas; Eclipse, Inception and Sex & the City 2! It's amazing on the new TV that we have. Aha. Help
So now that Christmas is over again, next up is the new year, meaning that the sales have begun! I'm looking to invest in a new camera... Preferably one that is good for concerts but in general too. I'm tempting to get myself a DSLR, so if anyone has any suggestions as to what to get, drop me a comment with your help, links or anything are welcome! :) Please!
Boxing Day
So today is boxing day and Christmas is pretty much over already, it goes way too fast. We went out for a meal, a late lunch with my Dad's side of the family, my nan, grandad, both aunt's and both uncles along with my baby cousin who I only just met today, he's super cute! The meal was pretty good, not much choice as it was all meat options and I don't really like meat at all, unless it's chicken. Surprisingly it went really well, my Grandad even asked me when I was going to have a baby... Told me I was next in line. Weird. Following the meal, we stopped off at my other aunts house and exchanged gifts, meeting my cousin's boyfriend who looks a lot like Jacob Black from Twilight, I love this about Christmas.. I get to see my entire family! Although we live so close, we don't always have the time to see each other very often, I'm sure it's probably like that with a few families though.
Anyway, I hope you've all had a lovely boxing day! Going to watch a movie or something now.. ♥

Now it's time to celebrate. Let's crack out the alcohol, the candy and cook a lovely Christmas dinner.
I'm looking forward to the mess both my cat and my dog will make as they tear open the gifts I got them, they both have a thing for shredding paper into millions of pieces. We're staying home for Christmas this year, I will celebrate with my Mother, Father & my brother but my Gran & Grandad will visit us in the morning too! I'm so excited to open the gifts I have, most being from friends, in packages that I've tried to ignore for the past couple of weeks. It's been hard.

2 More sleeps until Christmas day kiddies. I'm currently sat here jazzing up my nail just a little bit more, they looked a little bland for Christmas with just the black so I've added more gems to them, I'll post a picture later if I remember. Tomorrow is Christmas eve and hopefully working will bring me back into the Christmas spirit a little bit more. I've slipped out of it. Finished all of my shopping yesterday though and now all that is left is some baking.. Which I'll begin a little later on today.

42" Plasma TV. We just bought this tv this evening and we've only just got home from our last minute christmas shopping but I've finally got a gift for everyone so no more panicking for me! As soon as the TV is mounted onto the wall, up and running, I'll show you guys a better picture!

I have no work today, like every Wednesday so we're going to go off and do our last minute shopping while we still can and the snow isn't stopping us. I only have to buy a gift for my mother, hopefully she won't be too difficult to buy for.

Here are my nails today. I used a base coat of pink nail varnish from Orly again before sticking black rhinestones in a diagonal line on each nail. Hopefully the rhinestones will last as long as they did before.

For a Monday morning, I'm in a pretty good mood. It doesn't happen often on Monday's ;) Just waiting for my lift into work, I'm starting later today because I had to make sure that Adam got his bus to take him into town to catch his train later on today. It's been a pretty fun weekend but planned things have been limited due to the amount of snow we've had, apparently we're due some more later today. I wonder if that will come of anything. Not many days left until Christmas now, roll on the weekend! :D

They're so unbelievably good live although in this recording she does go a little flat at some point but that's expected I suppose. Gutted that they didn't perform 'Goin' Down' though :(

Yo yo yo. Sorry I had no time to update today, I got up super early to catch my train to London where I then went to Sara's house before going to Westfield to shop for a bit before the concert... We went to see The Pretty Reckless :) They're amazing live, would totally go and see them again! Alice & I had standing while Sara & Pey had level 2 seating, which we only found out the night before. Will blog the pictures soon! Gotta go to bed now and take an early train home to meet Adam as he's staying with me for the weekend <3

All mine. The latest addition to my Tokio Hotel CD collection, I wasn't expecting it to arrive until tomorrow but early is always good. I can't complain!
It's my day off work today and I have to get everything ready for the weekend, clean my room ect, shower ready for tomorrow as I head off to London again for another concert. Yesterday I had college but there was a bit of drama getting to and from, the girl I usually get a ride into college with texted me at the time she was supposed to pick me up, to tell me that she wouldn't be in. I had to get my dad to take me to college and then I was due to be stranded at college until begging my dad to come and pick me up after worked, it was a lot of begging. Believe me. Aside from that, in our English class we did some fun quizzes and the one with the most points at the end, won a box of Quality Street... That was me ;) Must go and clean my room now!

Monday
I hate Mondays, not explanation to why, I just do. Back to college tomorrow, I feel so bad for not being there recently but I couldn't help it to be fair. I have to motivate myself to finish the last of these questions before tomorrow but I'm so tired, I just wanna snuggle up in bed with a film.. No chance! X Factor final last night was brilliant, Matt Cardle won and I'm so happy for him, results were released on the Xtra Factor after the show that he had the most votes every single week except for one week (I think it was the second) where Mary got the most and he got the second most amount of votes. He was destined to win the show from day one! Hopefully he'll be the most successful male to win the show and won't fade away after a year like the other guys who won have. I'm waffling in this post now, going on about nothing important at all! That's just me though. Better make some dinner and crack on with this work.

EVENING EVERYONE.
As exhausted as I am, I'm in such a good mood. Just had a Chinese for dinner which was delicious, so satisfying after not eating all day due to a hectic day at work which I'm not complaining about because I bagged myself £30 overtime pay! Good eh?
Tonight is the X Factor final! It's gone so fast but I'm not letting the X Factor fun end for me this weekend, I'm hoping to see one of the contestants next weekend with a lover of mine :)

We spotted the tinsel in Primark and I simply couldn't resist ;)
Well..
I woke at 6am for college but there was a powercut in the house. I've no idea why, it was completely random, meaning that I couldn't get ready for college in the pitch black to catch my bus at 7.10. Instead I am home finishing off my college work after planning to get the 10 bus but it didn't show up. Fail. On the other hand, I am still getting my work done and should be complete by this evening if I don't get distracted at all. Last night it hit -12 degrees Celsius which isn't something we're used to in the UK for winter! Tomorrow I need to send out all of my Christmas gifts and cards, hopefully it won't cost me TOO much money, ha!
Now I'll go and make some lunch, light the fire and stay warm :-)

I've been a good, productive girl today, I've got some of my work done although it isn't all complete yet, I'm getting the hardest part out of the way. Denise & I have just been sorting Christmas gifts for Kim & Liz, I can't wait to hear about what they think of them.. LOL. Not much time left of this day so I'm going to crack on with some more work and watch the X Factor semi final!

Work is over for the day and now it's time to crack on with the amount of paper work I need to get done for college. It's not urgent to finish it all by Tuesday but I want to get it out of the way so that I can focus on the practical work I need to finish in College. I filmed this last night at the 30 Seconds To Mars concert last night in Birmingham. The entire show was intense and just simply amazing, I have no words to describe how good it was but the interaction with the fans is perfect!

My brother and I are currently sitting outside of the NIA (National Indoor Arena) in Birmingham as we wait for the doors to open at 6pm UK time! It's absolutely freezing but I'm thinking of the warmth inside and how lovely it is going to feel! There doesn't appear to be too many people in front of us in the queue so we're hoping for some good spots in the crowd. Wish us luck!
